Kelsey and Aaron are away on their honeymoon, but I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful flowers. They were absolutely perfect! Kelsey's bouquet was beautiful and she got a lot of compliments on it. The centerpieces were also beautiful and all the flowers very fresh. The magnets for the women were a wonderful option that was greatly appreciated by the women who were wearing thin summer fabrics and wouldn't want pins going through it.

I was informed about Dahlia Floral Design by the Wedding Pavilion when I was planning my wedding last year, during a night where Monica and other florists were displaying their different bouquets and designs. I was blown away by how contemporary her centerpieces were and how she arranged the flowers, so I decided to meet with her to discuss flowers. When I met with Monica, she was great in advising what flowers worked well together but was also very thoughtful about what I was looking for and what was within our budget. When the flowers arrived on our wedding day, they were more beautiful than I could have imagined and definitely made our day extra special. My husband and I were the lucky winners of a discount on our wedding flowers from Dahlia Floral Design after attending a bridal show. At first, I was worried that the discount might reflect in the quality of the flowers, and with the private studio, I wasn't sure on the credibility and if I would have problems getting the flowers on the wedding day and the quality. Let me tell you...was I EVER surprised! We met with Monica and she was really helpful in giving us advise into designing the bouquets and boutonnieres the way we wanted (we have NO experience in flower arranging), giving us an idea of what might go well together but going with the general flowers we wanted. I had wanted some sunset colours due to our September wedding but I wasn't sure how the flowers could come together with all the reds, oranges, creams, and yellows. When I got the flowers on my wedding day, I was sooooooooooo pleased. I LOVED my bouquet, as did the bridal party. The colours were exactly what I wanted, and they popped and worked amazing with the outfits and the gorgeous weather that day. I had no problems with the timely delivery the morning of the wedding, and Monica would always reply and give such detailed emails I had no worries at all that I would have a hassle-free delivery. Even though we got a discount, the flowers, service, and quality did not suffer in the least. Nor were the prices "hiked up" to balance the discount. My only regret was that I could not do the bouquet justice by trying to preserve it. For the most part, the bouquets handled the day extremely well and everything was as Monica discussed prior to deciding on our flowers. My husband has told me since I loved the bouquet so much he may just get me one every year on our anniversary :) I am also deeply appreciative that Monica did not pressure us in any way, even though I had been undecided in getting church flowers and such...thank you thank you thank you Dahlia Floral Design. I have told everyone who I know will be getting married soon that they should get their flowers from Dahlia Floral Design!

My wedding was September 11. Dahlia Floral Design absolutely fulfilled every floral dream I had. From the moment I opened the door I was met with a pleasant smile and friendly service. Monica was able to transform my small magazine photo into the most amazing bouquet I could have dreamed of. After meeting with two other florists in Calgary for initial quotes my fiance and I met with Monica and knew that although not the budget option, she was the most qualified and professional we had met with that day and that she would be able to give me exactly what I wanted. And deliver she did. On the initial visit Monica was able to provide me with the information I needed to make the best decisions possible - she helped give me visuals to the size of bouquets, different shades of the same flowers, etc. She was also to make modifications and tweaks to her initial quote to work with my budget and was able to work with personal touches I wanted to incorporate into the bouquets to make the flowers my own.
